Dr. Ward is a recent retiree of the CT Agricultural Experiment Station, where he was the Chief Scientist of the Department of Forestry & Horticulture. Upon retirement, he was honored to receive the title of Chief Scientist Emeritus.
He’ll discuss the dynamic nature of Connecticut’s forests and what this means for the economic, ecological and aesthetic values of our forests in the future.
